The expansion and contraction of deep hole honing heads in traditional deep hole honing machines in China are hydraulic expansion and contraction. This expansion method has the disadvantages of small expansion range, inaccurate expansion size, and slow expansion speed, resulting in low machining efficiency and poor machining accuracy of honing machines equipped with this type of honing head. Compared with the internationally advanced Senn Heng grinder, there is a significant gap. Recently, through the efforts of our technical designers, we have successfully designed a honing head that uses servo motors to precisely control the expansion size. The expansion range is large and can achieve rapid expansion. The design of the honing head is precise, lightweight, and can effectively reduce the sagging of the honing rod.

In order to match this advanced honing head, we have also redesigned and developed a new 2MK series deep hole honing machine. The 2MK series deep hole honing machine is mainly used for precision machining of cylindrical inner hole surfaces such as hydraulic cylinders and steel pipes. The aperture accuracy is above IT7, and the surface roughness is Ra0.2-0.4 μ m. The honing diameters of two different models are 30-500mm and 80-1000mm respectively, with a maximum honing depth of up to 12000mm.

The honing head of the machine tool is driven by a servo motor and can be infinitely adjusted; The honing head adopts a rack structure for reciprocating motion, ensuring the stability of the processed coil wrinkles; For the repair of taper holes, precision honing technology without spark machining is used; The external oil inlet can clean the honing head in real time, improving the honing quality; Strong magnetic filter and paper bag filter ensure the cleanliness of honing oil; This machine tool can also hone through holes and stepped holes, with a wide range of applications.
