Answers about machine selection, lead times, commissioning and after-sales service.
What information is required for machine selection?
▶
Provide the part drawing, material, workpiece dimensions and weight, hole diameter and depth, tolerances, straightness, surface finish, production volume and any additional operations.
How is a specific machine model validated?
▶
Engineering review covers the machining range, workholding, BTA or gun-drilling process, tooling, coolant delivery and chip evacuation. The final model and configuration are confirmed only after the input data are reviewed.
How is manufacturing lead time determined?
▶
Lead time depends on the approved configuration, tooling, automation and acceptance plan. It is confirmed in the project quotation and contract; there is no universal lead time for every machine.
How are FAT and acceptance criteria agreed?
▶
Before the order, the parties agree on the test part or sample, measured characteristics, measurement method, documentation and FAT format. Values must match the approved technical specification.
What is included in installation, training and support?
▶
The scope of installation, commissioning, training, remote support or on-site service is agreed for each project and stated in the quotation and contract.
How are tooling, fixtures and coolant systems selected?
▶
Selection depends on material, hole diameter and depth, length-to-diameter ratio, quality targets, output and workholding. The list is agreed together with the machine configuration.
